“Our link Church is St Elizabeth’s Beesen, which is in Halle, East Germany. This link has been established for several years and exchange visits are frequently made. An autumn visit was made to St Elizabeth's in 2001. During the Sunday service, we presented the church with a banner designed and made by members of our congregation. The words on the banner remind us that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. The church was delighted with the gift. Our then Curate, Rev. Stephen Pratt, preached on this passage from John’s Gospel. (John 15:1).
St Elizabeth’s and their minister Herr Schubert, are constantly in our prayers.
A group of 15 members of the church came from Germany to help with our annual children's mission, which we call
Whizzbang, two years ago and not withstanding language difficulties made a great contribution. Whizzbang attracts over 300 children each year and is well known in the area.
A group of six from All Saints’went to a Zehnjahrstag, tenth anniversary, of the building of a Parish centre, Gemeindezentrum, in Beesen. 21/22 June 2003.
Further exchange visits have taken place
including a group from All Saints’ following
the “Luther trail” in Sachson Anhalt. We also
welcomed our German friends in
September 2005 for the Harvest Weekend. The Weekend included a Barn Dance which was great fun.
8th to 10th September 2007: Herr Schubert and a delegation of 12 people from St. Elizabeth’s visited us. We had a lovely time and sang songs in German.

Our Guests sang during the morning service on Sunday, and Herr Schubert preached.
